Motorola promised Nougat update for the Moto G4 Plus on the fourth quarter of 2016 and they delivered on that promise. Moto G4 Plus is currently receiving Android 7.0 Nougat update in India.

Here is what you need to do for the update :
Step 1 : Make sure your phone has atleast 70% bettery. If it doesn’t charge your device or run the entire process connected to a charger.
Step 2 : If you received the notification tap on it and you shall see the window as seen in picture below. Select on I’m in and you will be redirected to download page where you can choose to download on WiFi only or even on mobile data in case you have Jio. Given the size of the update is 733MB it will eat up 75% of your daily Jio FUP limit.
Step 3 : Let the download complete and then hit the completed notification and select Install Now to update. Let it all complete and you will be in your lockscreen with the new update complete.
In case you didn’t receive the notification go to Setting>About>System Updates and you will again see the window as shown below. Follow all the above steps.
