Apps of the week DEC15-03 Edition

Hey guys, the Apps of the week post is
here, and it is as interesting to write about these apps as is using them. As we
have posted earlier about the Zenfone 5 soon going to be blessed with the first
Android M coated Resurrection Remix ROM, we have posted a pic on our Facebook
Page from the developer, notifying the confirmation about it. You can check the
post HERE.

So till the time, the ROM is coming out, enjoy the Apps of the Week. This is Hellariser Aakash
from Windroidica.
     1.
Elevate
Elevate is a
brain training program designed to improve focus, speaking skills, processing
speed, memory, math skills, and more. Now this app does what it says. With
different levels and different puzzles including color, shapes etc. this app
really enhances the brain activities and its processing speed. Daily workout
with Elevate can make your brain more efficient and skillful. I tried it, and
I’m still using it.
     2.
Hotspot Shield Free VPN
Proxy
With the
technology advancing day-by-day, the internet is getting enormous too. There
are trillion websites (as I think) in the world, and around millions of them
are those which we are not able to access due to geo-restrictions contents. In
simple words, because of different country based contents. From this app, you
can not only access any website or content from any source, but also secure
your private credentials and browse the internet without getting a peek-a-boo
from the cybercriminals and hackers. This app offers online activity completely
anonymous, private and secure.
     3.
Inshorts
In this world of
hectic schedules and busy lives, we all wanted to be updated with our
surroundings. But sometimes, news articles are so big and biased that it is
difficult to read all and get a proper image of it. Inshorts is just not a
regular news app. It shows any news in not more than 60 words, enough to get a
glimpse of the story. Obviously, it has every type of content related news like
business, technology, nation, worldwide and so on. If you want to read the
whole article you can access that too. Besides, you can share the news via
Facebook, Whatsapp etc.

Sygic : GPS
Navigation and Maps
A big thanks to
the Google Maps for providing all routes, and pathways to reach the
destination. But even bigger thanks to the developers of this app to make the
offline navigation possible. Sygic: GPS Navigation & Maps is The World’s
Most Installed Offline turn-by-turn GPS navigation App for Android powered by
TomTom Maps. Navigation and Maps are installed on the phone or SD card so there
is no need for an Internet connection when navigating. Map and app updates are
FREE every 3 months. So even if you don’t have the internet access and you want
to check the routes, now you have the companion.
      5.
 Survive –
Wilderness survival
I always wonder
if I get out on camping or trekking, and I get stuck somewhere in the middle,
would I be able to survive or not? And the answer is Survive – Wilderness
survival. This game is a themed simulation where you need to decide how you
spend your time and what action is most crucial for you now in order to
survive. The game offers you building shelter, finding food, water, traveling,
collecting firewood and the list goes on. It is in Alpha stage of development
right now, and the developer is still improving it. Honestly, I’m spending my 3
hours a day on this game, and fortunately I’ve survived it just before writing
this post.
      6.
A good Snowman
Everyone loves a
puzzle game which is easy but gets difficult as the levels pass. And since the
Christmas and new year’s approaching, nothing could beat a game like this. A
good Snowman is a simple game. You have 3 balls to make a snowman. You grow the
snowballs by rolling them over … wait for it … more snow. It’s as simple as it
is challenging — but there are some trickier elements as well. Mind your
surroundings. Don’t be afraid to have a seat. Kick something if you must.
(These are hints, kids.)
P.S : This is a
paid app, so don’t mind in spending some bucks (LOL)

It’s fun to
write about these topics and apps, but it would be more fun to get a review
about our hard work. So take your vocab as your sword and play it on the
comment box. And yes, Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to everyone out
there. Have fun 🙂
